The movie Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 is the sequel to the film Gangs Of Wasseypur. The movie is set in India and revolves around Manoj Kumar (Manu Rishi) who is brother of Bhaskar (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), one of the main characters in the first part. It also revolves around Kali Das Gupta (Kareena Kapoor) who was introduced in part 1, but her role will be bigger in part 2. The story follows four characters namely Manoj Kumar, his friends Raja Chatterjee and Sooraj Desai, and love interest Komal Tilak. The film was released on 18 May 2013. There are 5 songs in the film, sung by Ghulam Ali, Ustad Sultan Khan & Aadesh Shrivastava. The movie was wrapped up on 11 July 2012. IndiaGlitz reported that the censor board of India had given a clean-chit to the film to be released on 18 May 2013. It was announced that Manoj Kumar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui would reunite for another film Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 which will be a sequel to Gangs Of Wasseypur which had a huge success back then. The first teaser of the film was leaked on YouTube on 11 July 2012. The official teaser was released by Karan Johar on 5 August 2012. A one-minute trailer of the film was released on 15 August 2012. "Gangs Of Wasseypur 2"'s global premiere took place at the Indian Film Festival of San Francisco 2012, where it received a standing ovation from the audience and a number of awards were also presented to members of the cast and crew. The movie has received good reviews from critics, although it has been criticised heavily for being a copy paste version of Gangs Of Wasseypur, as well as Kareena Kapoor's hot and fit looks. The first part of the film was a box-office hit on its release, and it became a cult movie due to its bold content and story line. The movie received a mixed response from critics. The film released internationally on 18 May 2013 in more than 400 screens across Pakistan.
